How it works

HyperMeme is a memecoin launchpad on two chains — Robinhood Chain and HyperEVM. Coins launch on a fair bonding curve and graduate to the chain’s DEX with locked liquidity.

Two chains

The chain selector on the home page switches the whole site between Robinhood Chain (the default) and HyperEVM. A coin lives on the chain it launches on — its curve, graduation, and liquidity all stay there. The mechanics are identical on both; only the denomination and the destination DEX differ:

The 1% trade fee, creator rewards, and locked-liquidity guarantee apply on both chains. Your portfolio, points, and leaderboard standing span both — see Points.

Lifecycle
1

Create a coin

Name it, pick a ticker and image, hit create. One transaction mints a fixed 1,000,000,000 supply onto a bonding curve.

2

Trade on the curve

Buy and sell against a deterministic x·y=k curve priced in the chain's native token (ETH on Robinhood Chain, HYPE on HyperEVM). Every buy moves the price up, every sell moves it down — no order book, no market makers. Every buy and every sell pays a 1% fee in the native token.

3

Graduate to the DEX

When the curve hits its raise target (3.88 ETH on Robinhood Chain, 118 HYPE on HyperEVM), the remaining tokens plus the raised native token seed a locked 1% pool on the chain's DEX (Uniswap v3 on Robinhood Chain, HyperSwap on HyperEVM). The curve closes and the coin trades freely on the DEX — the 1% fee applies there too.

The bonding curve

Price rises along a fixed x·y=k curve as supply is bought. The curve closes when it hits the graduation target and seeds the DEX pool.

Why locked liquidity matters

At graduation the liquidity that seeds the DEX pool is locked forever in an immutable locker contract, so it can never be pulled — there's no rug vector on the pool itself. The locked position still earns the pool's 1% swap fee on every trade of a graduated coin, anywhere on-chain. That fee is split: a market-cap-scaled share to the coin's creator (see Creator rewards), the rest to the protocol.
Creator rewards

Launch a coin and you earn a share of every trade after graduation. The higher your coin's market cap climbs, the bigger your cut, up to 0.25% of every trade. The tiers are set in USD, so they work identically on both chains — paid out of the locked pool's LP fees in the chain's native token (ETH on Robinhood Chain, HYPE on HyperEVM), claimable anytime from your portfolio.

Points

Every wallet earns HYPERMEME POINTS for real on-chain activity. The score comes purely from verified volume and launches. Points count on all chains — there is one unified points system and one unified leaderboard, so trading on Robinhood Chain or HyperEVM earns the same points and the same leaderboard standing. Volume is normalized to a common unit (HYPE-equivalents) at trade time, so a dollar of volume is worth the same points on either chain. The leaderboard has a chain filter if you want to slice by chain, but it defaults to all chains — one board for everyone.

Points come only from real, verified activity — trading your own coin can't double-count, and referrals only pay from what your referees actually earn.

Listings on Hyperliquid (HyperEVM coins)

Every HyperEVM coin is built to go further than the HyperMeme (HyperSwap) DEX. Baked into each coin is the ability to list on HyperCore — Hyperliquid's native spot exchange (the Hyperliquid main exchange, app.hyperliquid.xyz) — as the same token, trading next to majors and bridgeable back and forth between HyperMeme and Hyperliquid.

Open to anyone. Listing runs on Hyperliquid's permissionless token deployment — any graduated coin can be taken through the process (secure a ticker, seed the market, request the link), which HyperMeme finalizes as an anti-mis-linking safeguard, to go live on HyperCore.
The listing process costs ~500 HYPE plus liquidity provision for the order book. Recognising that this is a significant cost, for top HyperMeme projects with real, active communities we provide discretionary listings funded by the HyperMeme treasury — we cover the cost and run the process, so your community's coin lands on Hyperliquid easily.
Why it matters
Real liquidity. An order book on Hyperliquid can draw professional market makers and far deeper, tighter markets than a bonding curve ever could — the same structure the majors trade on. And because it's the same token, the two venues share liquidity through arbitrage.
A bigger audience. Your coin sits next to the majors in front of one of the largest active trader bases in crypto — exposure a launchpad alone can't reach.
Pathway to perpetual futures (perps). Once a coin is listed on Hyperliquid spot, a futures listing becomes far more accessible — bringing more attention to the coin and attracting deeper liquidity.
Project legitimacy. Going from a launchpad coin to a natively listed Hyperliquid spot asset is the strongest credibility signal there is — and it opens further pathways to other liquid venues, like major CEXs.
